FAIRTRADE FRIDAY: FURNITURE

IMGP8012

Introducing the latest addition to our house! We picked up this lovely hall table from our local Oxfam store (Canberra centre). I haven’t seen it online, which just goes to show that it’s worth going into stores every now and then for a poke around, to find one-off surprise pieces. I love that this is the first thing you see when you enter our home. The different wood tones pick up the various other pieces throughout our apartment such as our antique piano (dark wood) our antique table (mid colour) and the staircase (light wood). I’m excited that our apartment is starting to become a bit more cohesive and I can’t wait to start styling this piece and share with you some more pictures!

Ooh I love that hamper! Your new hall table is gorgeous too, and even better that it’s from Oxfam! I’ve got lots of little things from there in the past (it’s fab for presents!) but have never explored their furniture before, I’ll have to keep my eyes out!

I love Oxfam for gifts but this is my first piece of furniture. Thank you so much for your comment! :-)
