Sooo, I’m writing from Canberra. I live here now! We moved here this time last week and have spent the last week looking for somewhere to live and doing a little sightseeing in between.
First things I’ve noticed about Canberra? Hills. Trees. Suits. And also cute cafes and eateries, interesting architecture, and stunning views from aforementioned hills. We’ve checked out the views from Red Hill, the Telstra Tower and the Australian War Museum (which, by the way, is phenomenally put together).
We just signed a lease on a gorgeous apartment! I’m looking forward to our furniture arriving so we can move in! Prepare for lots of ethical home posts coming your way…
But first things first: a new place means that – after an awkward transition of a few months – I now have a permanent address to post online shopping to. Given I start work on Monday, I’ve been eyeing off work gear, specifically these perfect staples from People Tree:

Sofia Pencil Skirt for £27.00GBP (on sale from £75.00)
Ethical credentials: Made by a Fairtrade Organization
Kay Black Trousers for £47.25 (on sale from £75.00!)
Ethical credentials: Made by a Fairtrade Organization, Fairtrade cotton
Until these arrive, tell me – what’s your dress code for work? Do you have any workwear staples?
Yours Fairly,
Ashlee
